Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the BossPDF mobile application and the BossPDF website at https://bosspdf.app (collectively, the “Service”) operated by BossPDF (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

Use of the Service

BossPDF provides PDF editing, scanning, conversion, merging, compression, signing, and document management tools for iPhone and iPad. The Service is intended for personal and professional use.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the Service to process documents that you do not have the right to access or modify
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application

Subscriptions

BossPDF offers subscription-based access to premium features (“Pro” subscription).

  • Plans: Weekly ($1.99/week) and Annual ($19.99/year)
  • Payment: Will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time
  • Free Trial: Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BossPDF and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your documents and files remain your property. We do not claim any ownership or rights over the content you create, edit, or process using BossPDF.

Your Documents and Data

All document processing in BossPDF happens locally on your device. We do not upload, access, or store your documents on our servers. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your files. We recommend using iCloud or other backup solutions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any defects in the Service will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BossPDF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
